After partnering with the International Federation of Red Cross to help Typhoon Haiyan victims in November, Facebook has decided to extend its efforts towards charitable organizations. As of this week, Facebook members will be able to make cash donations to non-profit groups through the social media site.
Donating to your favourite cause has just become easier than ever thanks to this latest rollout from Facebook. For users who have already made a previous purchase through Facebook, donations are only two-click away, whilst first-time users will have to enter their credit card information.
Facebook reports that this move was influenced by the influx of charity and aide seen from users after the Philippines’ struggle through Typhoon Haiyan.
